The purpose of this paper is to show part of the contents of AIMA, paying special attention to the time evolution of each cause of death by age and sex groups from 1981 until 2006 and the geographical distribution of mortality in the last year of the period for all the municipalities of Andalusia. The information presented is an additional element for reflection and debate about the past, present and future of mortality in Andalusia.
