The DEMAP group has managed the investigates Health Award 2008, mode of public health, the Government of Health of the Junta de Andalucía, given annually by the development of the project "Atlas of mortality in Andalusia (AIMA)". The award ceremony was held on April 2, 2009 at the Central Theatre of Seville, going to pick it up the project co-ordinator Richard Ocaña Riola.
