Small Area Health Statistics Unit (Imperial College London)

The multi-centre project EUROHEIS , led by SAHSU, enabled joint collaboration between eight countries to implement the Rapid Inquiry Facility (RIF), a computer programme designed to study the geographical correlation between environmental pollutants and health indicators. DEMAP was one of the Spanish groups taking part in the project which fostered know-how exchange on Geographical Information Systems and analysis methods with other groups and institutions in Great Britain, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Sweden and the Netherlands.
